Hey Samantha! Thank you a lot, my sister and i, really enjoyed the trip.You really know Nanjing.I liked your explanations from historical places to culture aspects of Nanjing.I also liked the restaurants that you took us,they were so amazing. My sister will be back next year,i hope she'll have a chance meeting you again. Thank you again and stay blessed.

Thank you Samantha for the great day of touring Nanjing. Dewi and I had a great time. You are an excellent guide. Very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Nanjing area. We enjoyed all the locations that you took us to... Purple Mountain area, Linggu Temple, Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum, Ming Tomb, Stone Elephant Road, the local Nanjing Restaurant, Presidential Palace, Jiming Temple, Nanjing City Wall including view of Xuanwu Lake, Yuejiang Tower and view of City and Yangtze River Bridge. A really great tour. And thanks for arranging the High Speed Train to Shanghai...

Tour Date - March 16, 2013 If you want to see and understand Nanjing, you will be in good hands with Samantha. While planning a visit with my son who is studying in Hangzhou, he suggested a trip to Nanjing for its historical interest. After contacting Samantha via email about a one day tour she asked what our interests were - I replied history. Samantha came through - it was a fascinating and educational day. While my son and I could have gone to all the same sites on our own, we would not have seen or understood half of what we saw with Samantha --- she helped provide the perspective to bring it to life. My work associate and I had a great trip with Samantha's help. She met us at the train station, otherwise we may have been a little lost not speaking any Chinese, even after our flight got canceled from the night before. She got us to our hotel and helped check in and then showed us around the area of our hotel so we would know places to go for the week while we worked. The next weekend she took us to some excellent dining places, Chinese food as well as an excellent Korean Barbecue restaurant. Best was the noodles!!! She even went out of her way to find us Americans "COLD" beer as apparently warm beer is the norm. We also went to come cultural sights which put some things in perspective. She then finished it up with getting us to the airport and checked in. What a wonderful service.

Don't hesitate to use Samantha, well worth it.

Thank you so much for taking me around your beautiful hometown yesterday.
I had a lovely time and enjoyed seeing all the famous places.
They are special memories I will have for a lifetime and the photos turned out nicely.
A special thank you for somehow finding me on my return train to give me the Nanjing Massacre book I forgot in your backpack. Wow! I didn’t expect that.

Talking about the experience we had, I can tell that Samantha is not only professional, but really concerned about the traveller's needs. I had a problem in the hotel when I arrived and she solved everything with the awful staff (please, avoid Golden Key International Hotel at all cost!). She took care of me, she was not only a business guide. She helped me talking with retailers, she showed me some really good chinese food, she helped also with train tickets and even changing money. It was impossible not to feel safe with her. In fact, I wish I could be with her also in Shanghai.

Delightfully comfortable! Sam is amazing. Her English was great and we loved her sense of humor. She instantly bonded with our 10 year old son. She helped us navigate our way with all forms of public transportation to the sites of our choice (with her awesome input). We were in contact by email weeks before we arrived. We told her what we were looking for and things we wanted to experience. Of course, we asked for her own personal input as well. She planned our itinerary for us and worked with our schedule and needs. She met us each morning at our hotel and made sure we made it back to our hotel each evening. She allowed us to experience the culture with the security of her language skills! We valued and appreciated her honesty when we asked questions about what we saw, things we experienced, etc. She also helped us get our bullet train tickets a day in advance so we wouldn't have to worry about getting those at the station to go to Shanghai. I think it's important to mention that Sam felt like a part of our family, not someone we had never met before. Also, our son asked when we arrived in Shanghai, "Is Sam meeting us here at our hotel?" He was so disappointed to learn that we only got to spend time with her in Nanjing. She is so good that we will be back and we will use her again. What a blessing she is!

Hi Sam,

Thanks so much for your tour guiding yesterday and today. Lachy and Bec had a brilliant time with you today and thought it was really interesting and beautiful what you showed them. I think you have a lovely connection with Nanjing, and you share the information so naturally, it was really great having your company for those few days. I hope to come up again in September or October, so perhaps we could organize for Mike and I to see some of Nanjing with you.

Many thanks to Samantha for making our first family vacation in China a great one. We just recently moved to Shanghai and with a few days off for a national holiday, were ready to start exploring this country. But of course, we do not speak the language and have yet to figure out how everything works. Luckily for us, we had Samantha. Her English is wonderful, her knowledge of Nanjing outstanding, and her caring personality just a pleasure to be around. We are a family of four with two young girls and Samantha was just fabulous with our girls, making this vacation such a highlight for them as well. Samantha planned the details of our days in Nanjing so that we saw the sights while avoiding the crowds. At one point in time we were the only ones up on the Nanjing city wall (what an incredible experience). She even took care of the “little details” such as telling us what train station to arrive at to be closest to our hotel. We experienced parts of Nanjing we never would have known about on our own (eating at a typical Nanjing restaurant, a tour down city alleys to truly see what life is like for some people). And to top it off, the gentleman Samantha arranged as our driver (Mr. Yu) was so incredibly kind to our two girls! Thanks you so much for making our first trip in China a great start to our next few years of exploring!
