Nanjing Spring Hiking Tour
The Purple Mountain will be the only good place for hiking and breathe the fresh air of Nanjing city. Choose a sunny weekend, go to the top of the mountain, there will have a good view of the city and you could also take a cable car down, then have some good local Nanjing food.
After the tour, if you tired, I know some good places for an awesome foot massage, around 100CNY/person.
1 Day Main City Explore and 1 Day Relaxing Hot Spring Tour at Tangshan Area
Nanjing Tangshan is famous for the hot spring, hot spring is good for your skin and circulation, relaxing your body and get rid of the press. Just imagine after a one day tour and soaking your body in the hot soring with all kinds of aroma releasing your tiresome from a full day walking.
They have nice hotel rooms, once we finish the first day, you can check-in to their hotel and you can use the hot pot at night, and the next day before you check out. They have rooms with private hot springs too.
FYI:
Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall, Presidential Palace, Nanjing Museum, and Dr. Sun Yet Sen`s Mausoleum, and some other museums close on Mondays, please arrange your visit accordingly.
There are always new museums and places to go, we just got a new museum Nanjing City Wall Museum which opened on Dec.28th of 2021, it`s a great place to learn about all the histories and stories regarding the ancient walls and each brick.
Zhongshan Dock and Ferry is another thing to explore, take the ferry with local people across the Yangtze River and have a great view of Yangtze Bridge from another angle.
If you only have 1 day in Nanjing, the classic one day pass would give you a perfect idea of this ancient city, the former capital of Nanjing.
Starts the early morning at the Purple Mountain area about 3 hours with fresh air. Having a great lunch at a local Nanjing restaurant.
Afternoon, a nice walking around Xuanwu Lake Park area along the ancient city wall. Zhonghua Gate or Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall.
